'A Very Eventful Uneventful Weekend'

Hello again! It's been a minute. The past few days have been eventful for me in the real world, as it has been in my virtual world!

So first of all! Hobbies! Interests! Mixed. To start, two bits of media I've been following for some time released some new material on the 14th around the same time, much to my pleasure.

The podcast I mentioned in my first Entry (I think I've decided to stick to calling these 'entries' for now) released another episode, which I was really excited about. I'm a tad too

embarrassed to call it by name, but it is a D&D podcast that I've been following for... about three-and-a-half years now. It's a pretty climactic time, and this specific episode's release

was pushed back an extra week, so I was delighted to not only watch it, but that it was uploaded on the weekend. Furthermore, about two hours after that episode became public, the first act

of a twitch/youtube I follow series called HL2VRAI (Half-Life 2 but the AI is Self-Aware) was streamed. I was like... ten when the first one came out, waaaaaaaay back during the covid outbreak.

My sense of humor since then has changed drastically, but it still managed to get a chuckle out of me. It's honestly a bit of a shock to me that it even happened. Feels like a lot of 'big impossible

nothing ever happens' type... things have been... happening, at least in the past few years. Silksong, the seventh TF2 Comic, Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4... anyway. I digress. It was funny. The 14th was a very

enjoyable day for me. It was a weekend, the aforementioned cool stuff I had been waiting for was publicized, I got to celebrate with my family cuz one of them hit a big milestone... it was nice.

I wish I wasn't too sleepy after the fact to make this entry that day.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, back in hobby world, I have been HARD at work in my little Minecraft world. Oh, and bad news about muh disks. If you remember those. Yeah, uhh, the disk for Blue Shift never arrived,

unfortunately. It's weird. I never got tracking for it, but I also got asked to give the original seller a review, sooo...? I dunno. Just wanted to give my hypothetical audience an update on

what happened there. Anyway, you saw the cover image for this entry, let's talk about BLOCK GAME!

Much has been done since I last talked about my little Minecraft adventure! I have been LOCKED IN on this game for the past few weeks. I've killed the Ender Dragon, built a portal hub on the Nether Roof,

gotten an Elytra, gotten an XP farm going, and much more. I'm at day 196 at the time of writing this (which isn't 100% accuracte, because at near start I had a bug that required me to restart the day and night cycle, but whatever)

anddddddddd things are loooooooooookin' good. I'm not 100% sure what my main goal will be now, but I'll figure it out. I've got a little to-do list that I'm filling out, and it's mostly done, buuuuuuuuut... I think most

of my overall goals I had at the start of the game are more or less done. Which I'm a tad concerned about, because usually, when I give myself a list of objectives at the start of a game, pretty much any

motivation I previously had to keep going is completely drained from me once it's all done. I'll have to give myself some new ones. But, when it comes to the smaller stuff, I am BOOKED! Well, sorta.

I updated my world from 1.20.4 to 1.21.4 to see all the new Trial Chamber and Creaking stuff. I have a uhh, a texture pack called 'Programmer Plus' that takes newer items and gives them the

older look the built-in Programmer Art texture pack gives the OG blocks, and I thought that the white wood the creaking forest has looked lllllllllovely. You know, for all the convictions I have for modern

Minecraft and... Microsoft, the new wood types are consistently good. The Cherry stuff especially, the idea of pink wood just... scratches an artistic itch. I hope they add more. Maybe that should be my new goal, just building

cool stuff to improve my building skills. I dunno. Anyway, aside from that, I need to start mining for Netherite, get good enchantments all that jazz... maybe a gunpowder farm for rockets next. An automated sugarcane farm?

Hmm. Well, I would go into more detail, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it's 3 AM. Just wanted to give a quick update of the past few days, it's been quite pleasant over where I live. Nature-wise, at least. Anyway.
